Clean rooms and clean room areas offer the possibility to monitor contamination by airborne particles to a certain degree. The expected requirements that these rooms are suitable for their purposes should be proven by a qualification or a re-qualification.
Qualification / Re-Qualification
To confirm the purity class of an area, certain techniques are used to determine the minimum number of measurement points, as well as their exact volume. Within the limits of a given class, the number of particles and their maximum specified size are examined.
The qualification of the clean room is carried out to confirm its operation in compliance with all established parameters and standards.
