Ionisationsmodul
The use of ionization in cleanrooms is an absolute necessity in areas where special agents cannot be used to reduce the effects of static electricity on electrostatically sensitive products.
It should also be noted that the ionizers are excellent for removing different kinds of pollution, which are known to attract dust. In addition, our ionizers meet the requirements of modern production facilities, including rooms of high cleanliness class.
Structure
An IAM ionization module contains axial fans and high-voltage electrodes for electrostatic neutralization of the air flow. The fan unit draws in the air and conveys it further with the help of the fans, past the ionization electrodes.
These electrodes must always be placed last, so that the outgoing air stream flows around the electrodes and thus transports the positive and negative ions into the room.
A light grid closes off the ionization modules at the bottom and thus prevents any unauthorized access to the high-voltage electrodes.
The control system and the high-voltage supply are installed in the upper part of the ionization modules.
Operation
The air volume flow with optional upstream filter system builds up overpressure in an enclosed space.

Contact protection
The IAM ionization modules are closed off with a protective grid. This grid serves as a safety protection to prevent contact with the electrodes (of high voltage).
The contact protection consists of a protective grid that is permanently installed in the construction and is made of a non-conductive plastic (contact protection in accordance with the applicable safety regulations).
The protective grid can be removed for changing the discharge electrodes.
